Listen on the go: turn your reading into audio

Turn the PDFs, articles and documents on your reading list into a podcast or read-aloud audio you can play anywhere.

Who this workflow is for

People with more reading than screen time: commuters, students with long reading lists, professionals with reports to get through, and anyone who finds it easier to focus while listening.

The workflow, step by step

  1. Add what you need to read. Upload a PDF, Word document or eBook, or paste the link to a web page or article.
  2. Choose podcast or read-aloud. Pick Podcast for a natural, hosted episode that explains the material, or Read aloud (TTS) to hear the text itself with word-by-word highlighting.
  3. Listen while you move. Play it from your library on a commute, a walk or at the gym.
  4. Lock it in afterwards. Back at your desk, generate Flashcards or a Quiz from the same source to review what you heard.

Podcast or read-aloud? Use Podcast when you want the ideas explained conversationally; use Read aloud when you need the exact wording of the text.

Which Axo outputs to use

  • Podcast — a hosted audio episode of the material.
